C-Merak Foods is our state-of-art fractionation plant to de-hull, separate and mill the bean into our ingredient concentrates. We begin by removing the hulls from the dried beans. The beans are ground into fine particles where an air classification system separates the protein and starch particles. This dry processing method allows us to retain the bean’s native protein without the use of chemicals or additives. And, because it uses low energy, no water and produces no waste, we can produce quality ingredients while protecting our environment.
The plant is projected to be operational in 2022.
